Dynamic Storage Solutions
Gravity roller conveyors enable the simple and cost-effective transport of goods and pallets – without any additional energy consumption. They optimise warehouse processes, save space and support the first-in, first-out principle.
Rollex gravity roller conveyors are robust, reliable and can be easily integrated into existing systems. Thanks to our wide range, we offer the right solution for everything from light cartons to heavy pallets.
System advantages
Dynamics and Organisation – Rollex Storage Technology
Efficient storage systems ensure a smooth flow of goods, reduce storage costs and improve warehouse organisation. Rollex dynamic storage systems accelerate stock turnover, shorten handling distances and make optimum use of the available space.
Compared with static solutions, they offer a higher storage density and are particularly suitable for goods with a high turnover rate.

FIFO storage principle (pallet flow lines)
Pallet Flow Racking
Goods are stored on conveyor rollers according to the FIFO principle – First In, First Out. Gravity moves the goods automatically to the picking position without the need for any additional energy.
Advantages of the FIFO Principle
- Easy monitoring of expiry dates
- Automatic gravity-fed flow
- Short picking distances
- Space savings compared with other storage systems
- Optimum use of available racking space
- Improved workflows and space utilisation through the physical separation of loading and picking areas
- Consistently high fill levels thanks to the automatic replenishment of goods by gravity

LIFO Storage Principle (Push-Back)
Push-back racking operates according to the LIFO principle. This means that the goods stored last are the first to be retrieved. Up to six pallets weighing 1,000 kg each can be pushed into the lane using a forklift.
No load separation is required, and braking is optional – resulting in significant cost advantages compared with pallet flow lanes.
Advantages of the LIFO Principle
- Optimum use of available space
- Loading and unloading from the same side
- Racking can be positioned along the perimeter of the warehouse

Solution by type of goods to transport
Rollex products can be selected depending on the goods being transported:
Gravity roller conveyors: Type 750
Roller tracks: Type 720
Small roller tracks: Type 723/726
Depending on the application, combinations may also be appropriate – please feel free to contact us.

Typical areas of application
Buffer Warehouse
In production environments, goods are often moved into and out of buffer storage by automated storage and retrieval systems, for example for short-term intermediate storage between two production stages.
Finished Goods Warehouse
Depending on the size of the warehouse, goods are stored and retrieved using forklift trucks or automated storage and retrieval systems, for example for space-efficient storage of finished products according to the FIFO principle.
Picking Warehouse
Picking can be carried out manually, using order pickers or automated storage and retrieval systems. For small-parts picking, the rack front can be ergonomically designed to minimise reach distances and reduce picking times.
